SOME OTHER THINGS I LOVE
Aside from a researcher, I'm a lot of other things too! Here's a few other things I love...
MUSIC
I've played the piano and flute since I was very young, playing in performance ensembles and marching band all the way through college - and even performing three times at Carnegie Hall in New York! Nowadays, I mostly play & sing for fun on my YouTube channel, and sometimes perform with a local band.
PUZZLES & ESCAPE ROOMS
I've always loved puzzles and spend a lot of my free time doing puzzle books, playing puzzle games, and doing escape rooms! I've done over 70 escape rooms (and counting) across all different cities. I even built a spreadsheet to help me keep track of them all...
CRAFTS & DIY
Pretty much anything where I can be creative and make something with my own two hands is fun to me. I love painting, lettering, sewing, stitching, drawing, even cookie decorating - and the list goes on!
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
I started backpacking in middle school through Girl Scouts and by the time I was 18 I had summited Mount Whitney - the highest mountain in the contiguous United States! I love hiking, the beach, and just spending time outdoors in beautiful San Diego.
REALITY TELEVISION
Now for my guilty pleasure - I love reality TV. If you can name it, I've probably seen it. I usually justify it by saying that I enjoy observing and understanding real human behavior. Since I don't typically take pictures of myself watching TV, here's a picture of me with my Survivor Jeff Probst Bobblehead...
CATS
Anyone who knows me learns pretty quickly about my love of cats, so I'd be doing myself a disservice if I didn't mention it. I have two cats, Milo and Norman, who were both shelter rescues and are polar opposites from one another!
